Emergency at the Gas Station

March 16th, 2010 by admin

My cousin works for a local gas station. One night, he had to shut all the pumps off, evacuate the place, and call for an emergency repair because one of the pumps had started leaking. There was a crew there very quickly to take care of the problem. They ended up installing a flowmeter on every pump, so now the crew working inside the gas station can see when a pump is starting to have problems, and shut it off before it starts spraying all over the lot. That makes my cousin feel a lot better, because spraying gas is a gigantic fire hazard!
