Home from College

February 17th, 2010 by admin

My first year of college is over and done, and now I am home for the summer. I love college and I love studying animation. I don’t think that everyone really understands that I want to do it because of my love of the art. When someone asks me what I want to do, after I tell them they often ask me about an animator salary. The money is really secondary to me, it has to do with my love of animation and creating it. My professors told me that my attitude is right, and that because of it and my talent I will do very well.

It Really Works

January 29th, 2010 by admin

My cousin uses the Milestone Reading program and says she has seen improvement in her sons’ spelling and reading levels. I always knew my cousin had reading problems when she were younger, but I did not know nor think it would have been the same for her offspring. In any case, she’s thrilled with the phonics software and tells me all the time how her son now loves to read books and is thrilled when he is able to identify a letter when they are out and about. One of his favorite places to eat is at McDonald’s, so he identifies the ‘M’, and gets very happy.

Cool conference

January 28th, 2010 by admin

I hadn’t realized how many joburg hotels there were to choose from, it was only as I was looking online the other day that I found this out. I have to go over there for a work conference next week so I’m just trying to get everything sorted out for it. I’m actually quite looking forward to the conference as it should be really interesting. I know a lot of these things can be as much fun as watching paint dry, but with the guest speakers they have and the topics that they are discussing, I’m sure it will be a good one.

Well, you’d be suprised at just how much money you can save when you do it yourself. Take my wedding recently, I wanted to have a totally beautiful wedding, the wedding of my dreams, but couldn’t afford the high prices they were all charging.

So when I decided to do my DIY wedding, there were lots of areas that I attacked. I had a friend make my wedding dress, and saved thousands, and nobody could tell. My family helped me with the decorating, and I saved hundreds. All in all, we got it done, and it was perfect, and I saved a lot!

Our Bachelor Friend is Easy to Please

January 19th, 2010 by admin

One night we had our exmormon friend over for dinner and I made him chicken and rice casserole. It’s pretty easy and you don’t even have to pre-cook the rice. You just put a cup of it on the bottom of the dish, add a mixture of beef consume and French onion soup with some melted butter stirred in, pour it over the rice, and then add some chicken breasts - about 4. You bake it at 400 for about an hour. It wasn’t even one of my better meals and our exmormon friend said it was one of the best things he had eaten in a long time.

Online LPN Programs

January 15th, 2010 by admin

The one aspect about LPN Programs available on the Internet is that they not only give an easy opportunity for medical students to learn about a practical course easily, but in the bargain they can save money too. Online Lpn Programs are probably the cheaper versions of classroom courses. Mind you - There is no big difference between the two of them, but it is just that LPN Programs available on the Internet sounds a lot easier than attending classroom courses. More importantly - Students can work somewhere else, and yet finish off the LPN course. If you had the choice, which one would you go for?

Proactive Tutoring Helps Me Stay On The Right Track

January 11th, 2010 by admin

I have been enrolled with a tutoring facility to help improve my performance in Math. I must say that I really enjoy the way the lessons are taught by my tutor. Although, my comprehension of the fundamental concepts as well as the subject has drastically improved, I still take the help of my tutor. This way I am always able to rectify my mistakes quickly and efficiently. I practice a lot of sums during my tutoring sessions apart from my homework. This has drastically helped me and this reflects in my grades. I am the top scorer in my class and my parents are proud of me.
