The Function of colored Contact Lenses

February 11th, 2010 by admin

Colored contact lenses, as the name suggests, are primarily used to change or add to the natural eye color. The eyes are the only things that are exclusive and differ from one person to another. Most people try and make their eyes more pronounced so that it adds to the charm and beauty of their appearance. Colored lenses work mainly by covering up the iris with a new color or giving a slight tint to the inherent one. The color dissipates over the iris giving a distinct hue to it. However, this doesn’t act as a hindrance to your eyesight. So, colored contact lenses are in great demand because of their ease of use and efficient functioning!
