Wondering How Much a Counter Top that is Marble Would Cost

I just bought a new house. However, it needs a bit of work. I got a great price on it because it is a fixer upper though. I would like to do some of the work before I move in, particularly I would like to do the kitchen. I have been wondering how much a marble counter top would cost. I figure that I am only going to renovate my kitchen once so I might as well do it right and do everything that I want. However, I am not on an unlimited budget so I need to figure out how much different things will cost before I decide.
