Why is Illegal Immigration Enforcement a Heated Issue?

March 8th, 2010 by admin

There has been a lot of talk about the right and wrong ways to handle illegal immigration enforcement, and there doesn’t seem to be a consensus coming up in the near future. On the one side of the argument, there are people claiming that enforcement of our immigration laws needs to be complete and without exception. On the other hand, there are organizations that speak out about human rights and discriminatory elements of some policies.

Some organizations do claim that there is a way to enforce immigration laws without violating anyone’s civil rights, and it usually involves using upgraded technology and increasing the border security. However, other organizations lean more toward an expanded immigration policy or extending amnesty to the illegal immigrants that are already in the country. With such differing opinions, the debate will continue to divide opinions across the country.
