My New Computer Keeps Freezing

My computer is only six months old, but it keeps giving me a headache.  I expected to run perfectly, because it is still like brand-new.  Every time I call customer support, I end up with a foreigner who cannot speak English.  I have spent at least four hours trying to get my problem resolved.  The problem is, the computer freezing at least once every couple of days.  There must be some sort of compatibility issue going on, but I cannot figure out what exactly is causing this.  I am getting nowhere with customer support.  They even took remote control of the computer and could not figure it out.
