Gran Canaria Hotels

July 30th, 2010 by admin

The Canary Island of Gran Canaria is often referred to as a ‘Miniature Continent’ due to the variety of landscapes and different climates found, and also the golden beaches and endless white sandy dunes, picturesque villages and green ravines. Most tourists tend to visit the south of the island as it is warmer and sunnier than the cooler north. Stay in Gran Canaria hotels in the west if you want rockier and mountainous climes, or the east coast for flat beaches. For an exciting day trip, try the Palmitos Park, a large bird park in the south of the island.
